Umbria is known as "La Cuore Verde d'Italia" - "The Green Heart of Italy".

Todi is located towards the centre of Umbria, in the province of Perugia. It is within easy driving distance of Perugia itself, Assisi, Orvieto, Gubbio, Spoleto and Orte. It is possible to explore further afield into Tuscany, Lazio and Le Marche, for example the towns of Montepulciano, Florence, Viterbo and Urbino.

Whilst within the city of Todi everything is easily accessible on foot, a car is essential to get to Todi itself and to visit the many other beautiful sights in the region.
